Lumatek 240v Controllable Ballast

The Lumatek 240v Controllable is the latest in Lumatek's range of controllable ballasts. The Lumatek 240V digital ballast is available for 600W and 1000W wattages. Ballasts form the cornerstone of every successful lighting system. This is because they control the power supply to an HPS or MH lamp, minimising the possibility of hazards the plants are exposed to. The Lumatek Controllable Ballast 240V can be controlled with the Lumatek Plus 2.0 digital panel (sold separately).

HPS and HM technologies are grouped under the HID segment, also known as High-Intensity Discharge lights. These lighting systems are built on high-pressure sodium lamps and offer excellent results for growers who demand high performance.

Features of The Lumatek Controllable 240V ballast

The Lumatek 240V digital ballast is a new controllable ballast from Lumatek. The lighting system eliminates the possibilities of short circuits, overheating or power supply problems while helping the grower to maximise effectiveness and safety. And as every indoor plant grower knows, safety is an integral feature for the success of the plants.

Another important feature of the Lumatek 240V digital ballast is the smart start which minimises the lamp start-up and restart time. The system also generates less heat which can extend the life of both the ballast and the attached CMH bulb. The Lumatek 240V digital ballast is built to increase productivity as well as the protection inside the grow room.

The control system of the Lumatek 240v controllable ballast automatically monitors the temperature inside a grow room. The control system also allows users to synchronise the light and the photoperiods inside the grow tent. The light can also be dimmed if necessary.

When the Lumatek 240v controllable ballast is paired with Lumatek’s HPS bulbs, the system can deliver up to 30 percent more lumens than its competitors. The PAR/PPF output is also higher than the conventional ballast. This makes Lumatek's 240V digital HPS ballasts for 600W and 1000W wattages one of the most powerful and reliable ballasts available on the market. 

The settings of the Lumatek 240V 1000W digital ballast can be adjusted to super Lumens mode. In this mode, the lighting system will progressively upscale and adjust to achieve a more optimal output for every stage of the plants' life cycle. The system is also compatible with high-pressure sodium lamps as well as metal halide lamps, giving the grower more diversity.
