Greenhouse has developed one of its most ambitious strains for collectors, the Velvet Moon, a strain created from the selection of the best specimens of the well-known American Dosidos crossed with one of the last projects of the beloved and late breeder Franco Loja, the Holy Punch. 

With Velvet Moon we offer a variety appreciated both for its characteristics, which will be mentioned below, and as a tribute to one of the most important figures in the panorama of breeders and geneticists, Franco Loja.

What is Velvet Moon like?

The Velvet Moon feminized seeds are 60% indica-dominant. Thanks to its parental, this variety has characteristics of the two most important sub-genres of Cannabis. On the one hand, it is a seed with the ability to produce vigorous, hardy individuals that are highly adaptable to both indoor and outdoor environments.

The Greenhouse breeders report that Velvet Moon has great lateral branching, medium height and huge flower formation with great calyx and deep density. The colouring is another of the most striking features of its appearance, showing purplish tones during flowering.

Finally, the flowering of this novelty of Greenhouse Seeds can be developed in a short period of 8 to 9 weeks indoors, being able to complete this same phase towards the first week after the summer outdoors.
