The guys at Barney's Farm listened to our requests and crossed a Hawaiian Landrace Sativa with the Trainwreck to obtain a very potent and very productive genetics, with a unique pineapple aroma.

How is Pineapple Express feminized?

The genetics of Pineapple Express is a hybrid with a slight predominance of its Sativa part. The result is medium sized plants, which can reach 120 cm indoors and exceed 2 meters outdoors. It is a plant that grows vigorously, but it is very easy to take care of. Its structure is dense, but slightly stretched, with light green leaves that are accompanied by thick buds covered with resin, in the shape of popcorn that shine with a lime and yellow colour.

According to the manufacturer, this strain is adapted to all types of climate, from the coldest and rainiest to the most tropical and is very resistant to fungi and pests.

The flowering period of this genetics is fast, as it will take between 60 and 65 days indoors while outdoors it will be ready to harvest between 1 and 2 weeks after the end of summer.

Production of Pineapple Express

According to Barney's Farm, Pineapple Express is a very high yielding strain. Tests carried out by the bank indicate that it can reach between 600 and 700 grams per square meter under artificial light, while outdoors, with sunlight, its yield should range between 1.5 and 2 kilos per plant.

Most common effects

The technical data sheet of this strain indicates that it can produce very active cannabinoids and the THC value can reach 25%. The bank describes its effects as very cerebral, which come soon, but at the same time last for a long time. At the end they are transformed in a feeling of relaxation and pleasant well-being, but which maintain the activity, the happiness and the desire to talk.

Organoleptic properties

In the organoleptic properties of Pineapple Express, its citrus component stands out, with freshly cut pineapple as the protagonist. This aroma is accompanied by notes of mango, cedar and spices.
